The new Tavern Pass is a slap in the face for those who purchase the Mega Bundle. – November 13, 2020 at 08:34PM

I love this game and have been supporting it for years. While I still think the mega bundles are far too expensive for what they give I still purchase them because I want the game to grow and thrive. The “Tavern Pass” was included in the last mega bundle so I thought (erroneously) it would be included in this one and blizzard was finally giving me a bit more value for my hard earned money. When the new progression system hit I was floored that after spending eighty freaking dollars blizz expected me to cough up another 20 for the higher rewards tier. Changing the tavern pass into something else and leaving battleground perks in the mega bundle was just scummy to it’s core.

I’m fine with there being a 20 dollar buy in for those who do not want the mega bundle. For those of us who support this game at the highest tier I expect Blizzard to reward us and not try and nickle and dime us like we’re whales in a freaking gacha mobile game.

I’m really surprised there isn’t more backlash over this and I really would like Blizzard to address this and give players who support their game more value for their hard earned money.
