Help! Can’t access my geodatabase or map!! – July 19, 2022 at 10:27PM

Ok, so I worked on a GDB full of rasters yesterday. I had to use ArcMap because Arc Pro doesn’t have the ASCII to raster tool anymore. Everything worked perfectly and then I shut down my computer and went home.

I have an Arc Pro map that I’ve been using on this project for about a month. Today, I got an error message that it was created using a newer version of Arc Pro. Weird, but ok. I tried making a new map and opening up the GDB and got an error message that access is denied.

I’m using a brand new 18TB external drive to store all of the data. It’s been plugged into my personal laptop to do MAXENT analysis and then my work laptop for GIS. Any ideas of what’s going wrong or how to fix it? If I have to redo things, it’s probably only a full day of work that I lost but this is super frustrating.
