Can we manually map the network route? – October 3, 2022 at 08:50PM

The story is like this: My company’s network (in country A) is connecting to the company server (in country B). Country A and B are neighbour countries.

Then recently, I found out that whenever I want to connect to the server, it would take a very long time and the network connection would be very laggy.

Then I do a trace route, and found out that my ping would travel to country C and D (countries far away from me) before travelling to the destination.

Is there anyway I could do to not let my network travel that far, and straightaway to the destination?
