Good android library/control for map UI? – October 15, 2022 at 10:53PM

If I was developing a web app that needed to display map tiles or georeferenced images, I’d likely use something like mapbox or leaflet.

But what controls are available for a native android app? This is for an environment that doesn’t have google play services, so that means we can’t use the google maps sdk for android.

Prefer free/open but could pay if bang-for-the-buck is good.

Being able to work offline (consume map tiles that are cached locally) is a big plus.
