Design by Mick McManus (of WoodWorking UK CNC/3D/LASER group) for laser engraving and cutting adapted by myself to 3D print.
As a thank you to our front line NHS staff were looking to make handfull of these to give to nurses as we distribute 3D printed face shields in NorthWales (UK.)
Charity page is here on Go Fund Me – gf.me/u/xt8zxb and weve smashed the £500 goal so have ordered 2 more printers, sourcing loads of materials and possibility of buying a 3rd printer. More importantly our network of printer operators across north Wales have grown to print more an more.
Tested so far on Anycubic Resin with no Hollowing or draining and works fine, quite thirsty though as bed full comes in at nearly 150ml estimated in Chitubox
Will test on FDM when it’s free, currently printing Face Shields non stop.
