Better US transit map than Google Maps with transit overlay? – August 12, 2022 at 10:08PM

I have a love hate relationship with Google Maps. On one hand I surf it for hours just looking at places, but on the other hand, I’m an aspiring transit planner and their transit overlay is garbage. I have no idea why it doesn’t show Amtrak routes, and it’s incredibly selective about mapping tram routes. Certain cities have the entire tram network shown like Portland and Toronto, but other cities like Milwaukee and Detroit have nothing despite both having tram lines. Obviously you wouldn’t always want busses to be enabled on an overlay, but it would still be nice to have the option, be it city busses, Amtrak throughway busses, or Greyhound. Anyone know of a better map I can look at for US transit?
