US Navy’s Newest Carrier USS Gerald R. Ford 1st Deployment –

USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78), the world’s largest warship, and the U.S. Navy’s newest and most technologically advanced aircraft carrier, is in European waters alongside NATO partners for its very first deployment. The USS Ford recently concluded Exercise Silent Wolverine, a series of maritime drills off the coast of Portugal involving 11 ships from six other NATO Allies in November, 2022.
