Preserving the bin size or cell size of a raster when using the export map ( dpi ) function in ArcMap – April 3, 2023 at 10:29AM

Hello,

I am having a problem where a project requires the product map to be produced at a particular bin size. In this case, 2 meters. My rasters in ArcMap have cell sizes of 2 meters, but when I export the map I have to specify a resolution in dpi. I have tried different dpi’s but everytime the resulting exported .tif has pixels sizes that are a bit off from 2 meters in size.

I am a bit of a noob so please forgive me is there is an obvious solution to this bin size and dpi conversion problem. Thank you.
