Marine Recruits Tested in Crucible

Marine Corps recruits participate in the Crucible at Parris Island, S.C., Oct. 13, 2017. About 19,000 recruits come to Parris Island annually for the chance to become Marines by enduring 12 weeks of rigorous, transformative training, of which the Crucible is the capstone event.
