MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION MD 273 (TELEGRAPH ROAD) OVER BIG ELK CREEK PUBLIC MEETING – 02/06/2018
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) invites interested persons to attend an informational meeting about the replacement of the bridge on MD 273 (Telegraph Road) over Big Elk Creek in Fair Hill, Cecil County. While it is structurally safe for travel, the bridge is nearing the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. The project is currently in the design phase and is on schedule to begin construction in the Fall of 2018. It is anticipated the project will take approximately two years to complete, weather permitting.
WHAT: The informational meeting will familiarize attendees with the project and provide an opportunity to discuss project details. Maps and displays will provide additional information, and MDOT SHA representatives will be available to answer project-related questions. There will be no formal presentation. You may arrive at any time during meeting hours and walk through at your own pace.
