I made two version before this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3717404 second version
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3641567 first version.

and a must have tool https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3916868

The initially reason for doing this was the fact that the stock hot end is so different than everything else out there. the heat breaks the mounts, the only thing that that the stock hotend uses that other hotends use ptfe tube, pc4-m6, and the nozzle. So I went with an e3d clone I got off amazon. Above where my first two, knowing I would start from scratch again, and I did.

This one took over three days after work (one, today was a day off). I sat down and went from the ground up, new measurements and everything, Thanks to https://www.thingiverse.com/ksihota/about he gave me his fusion 360 file for is effector plate (I will thank him on the facebook group). It allowed me to visualize what I was trying to do. This normally would not have taken that long but I also stopped and designed out the e3d clone (I may post those with f360 files).

I can’t put it the machine just yet (its printing). Had to rebuild the hotend and print a part from version 2 to print this one.

Compared to the first two the tolerances are very tight, one of my aftermarket 30mm fans would not fit, I had to press this one in and screw it in place. This one though similar to my version 2 this one feels more rigid. The locking ring holds the e3d clone very tight. And the M3 hex nuts can be pressed in to place (only got one in, have to find the others).

Version 4 is all ready started but will not be anything 3d printed it will be focused around M3x60mm.

On a note as I did break part cleaning up the supports the next one I print I will up the infill and use support blockers in certain areas.

Obviously with this being printed in PLA it will not last (on both my previous versions I had almost 80 hours on each).

I may have offset the center of where the nozzle should be I will know more tommrow when I print with it, but I can use cura to offset, and or go back and fix it in the F360 timeline.

I also if I feel it is good I will add the 3mf with the custom supports and best settings.
