Face Shield for EFK-II Supply Face Shield Film Replacement

large_preview_FaceShield_v7.png

Found face shields on Amazon from EFK-II Supply. I liked the simple design of the Mercy Face Shield by rkolibar so I used SketchUp 2017 to create something similar. These work well for the Face Shield Film Replacement available on Amazon. The source SketchUp file is included so you may modify as needed.

Information regarding process from SketchUp file to STL.

  • Used SketchUp 2017 (This is the last desktop version. I’m not a fan of the new web version.)
  • Use SketchUp Extension, STL Import & Export, to export as STL
  • In Windows 10, open the 3D Builder application
  • Import the STL file in the 3D Builder application
  • Repair model (Dialog message)
  • Save the repaired model

Print Information

  • Software: Simplify3D
  • Printer: XYZprinting da Vinci 1.0
  • Filament Type: ABS

BTW: The Face Shield Film Replacement has protective plastic on both sides. In the photos, you can see the protective plastic that was peeled off from the inside. Just wanted folks to know what it is as I’m sure someone would ask. 😉
