Vibration speaker standalone mount

large_preview_Case.png

A vibration speaker mount that can be comfortably fixed on any flat top/bottom surfaces (under your desk, for example) using a base and that uniformly pushes the speaker to surface by springs.

This one is for any bass speaker 50×30 mm. They are just great for cinema effects, gaming, cymatics experiments, neighbours’ revenge and so on!

Please note, that the top cover fits tight, but it should be super-glued because it bears both pressure and vibrations from the speaker. The design allows for not using any supports during printing and glue spots should not be visible at all.

3x M4 screws are used for surface mounting and

3x M3 at least 30mm bolts to hold the

3x OD 8mm springs.

I used this full set of 3D printer bed leveling springs for design purposes:

but you might need to cut your springs in accordance with the bolts’ length and nuts’ (knobs’) thickness that you have handy.

Also please note tiny grooves on the inside of the cover and case for the wires – they should match! Alternatively, pull the wires through one of the voronoi holes on top.
