How to map a file so it shows in a different location without moving the file? – October 26, 2022 at 12:25AM

I’ve done this before but I can’t remember how to do it, and I guess I’m not describing the question well enough for Google to figure it out. What I want to do is have files from an external USB drive show up on my computers hard drive without having to physically move the files over. There’s a program that is set up to only look in a particular folder for files, but all my files aren’t in said folder. So I want to map those files so that they appear in the folder without actually being there. I hope that doesn’t sound too confusing.
