Trying to enable Network Discovery on all users so I can automatically map a share to a drive with group policy, but all of the policies I have enabled don’t seem to change anything. – October 27, 2022 at 11:03PM

The settings I have tried so far do not seem to be working. This is what I have done so far:

Computer Configuration –> Administrative Templates –> Network –> Link-Layer Topology Discovery:

Both of these are enabled and allowed while on the domain.

Turn on Mapper I/O

Turn on Responder

And after that failed I added a second policy to the firewall:

Computer Configuration –> Administrative Templates –> Network –> Network Connections –> Windows Defender Firewall –> Domain Profile:

Allow inbound file and printer sharing

And no luck after running gpupdate /force on my client
