1st CAV DIV "Headhunters" • Tanks In Lithuania (2020) –

1st Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division conducts a live-fire exercise in Pabradé, Lithuania, January 2020. In Vietnam, it is estimated that the 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry was responsible for 50 percent of all enemy soldiers killed by the 1st Cavalry Division during the war. It was for this reason that the Squadron earned the nickname The Headhunters.
