Ok so I get a 3d printer for christmas and my 7 year old son is designing and printing on his own.. I mean changing filament, making designs on tinkercad and Adobe photoshop… he understands all the settings in Cura. kids come up with ideas I wouldn’t even think of lol… mom wanted a longer vacuum end for her Dyson to reach bottom of dryer lint box. She has a 9.5″ which was too short, so he finds this 7″ one on Thingiverse probably, and he splits it in tinkercad then stretches them taller to 8″ each somehow, which he knows is the max height of the printer, then he creates a sleeve in tinkercad also for them to connect them, he even found out how to round the corners on the sleeve which I didnt even know about, he says just screw the sleeve on but when I put it together it fit so tight I didn’t have to and didn’t even have to glue it lol. Wow I’m impressed in our children and what they are capable of if left alone with there ideas… 😉
