This Creepy Clue to Loden Greatstorm’s Death Was Foreshadowed MONTHS Ago #Shorts –

The new High Republic comic series, Trail of Shadows by Daniel Jose Older, introduced a creepy lullaby that’s somehow connected to the Leveler, a creature or presence or something that has the power to turn a Jedi to literal dust. It goes, “Shrii ka rai ka rai, we’re coming to take you away. Shrii ka rai ka rai, we’re coming to take you away. They’ll do what they can and they’ll do what they must but when they do find you all you’ll be is dust.” Older actually wrote a tune for the lullaby because even though the comic just came out, if you’ve been keeping up with The High Republic era, you’ve already heard this song. It was included in Cavan Scott’s audio drama, Tempest Runner, which came out back in August. And that’s a detail that I just love. Knowing how closely together all these writers are working, and seeing them weave elements of each various stories into the larger narrative makes me want to experience it all over again as soon as it’s over.
