Thoughts on a ward map

Our ward mission leader has been asking for a “ward map” and after a year he explained that what he really wants is a way to annotate a map of the ward and share it, so the missionaries know what we know about who *isn’t* in the ward, those folks who used to be called “non-members” but are now known as “people.”

I know the missionaries have digital area books that have restrictions on what can be stored.

I’m looking for ways to create a simple ward map. I think the easiest way would be to download every address in our ward boundaries here:

https://www.transportation.gov/gis/national-address-database/national-address-database-0

And put it in a searchable Google spreadsheet, with the ward divided into sections by tab.

Or I could just copy the existing map and touch it up with photoshop and write on it by hand and pass it around.
