Every Canon Lightsaber Color and Meaning – Star Wars Explained #Shorts –

As of 2021, there are currently eleven lightsaber colors. Blue, green, yellow, purple, orange, cyan, indigo, magenta, red, white, and black. In Legends many lightsaber colors had unique meanings, but that was introduced as a game mechanic and was never widely used. As of right now, lightsaber colors mostly don’t mean anything. Yellow would often, but not always, symbolize a Jedi’s membership in the Jedi Temple Guard. Red, of course, showed that a lightsaber crystal had been bled by the dark side. White would show a red crystal that had been purified. So colors often showed what a lightsaber crystal had been through more than the wielder.
