Map will not open – December 2, 2022 at 01:13PM

Hi everyone,

I am currently using GIS to create species distribution models. I recently converted the raster files to ascii files to use in maxent. I moved the ascii files after I had closed out GIS and when I reopened the map each ascii layer said I needed to repair the file pathway, which is fine because I’m pretty sure moving the files was the issue. I tried to do this individually for each layer by going to properties > source and then browsed to the correct data source. However, when I started doing this GIS started being super slow and then just stopped working to the point where the map will not load. I tried opening it on two different computers, one with more RAM, but neither will open. I am not sure how to proceed and am fairly new to GIS so any feedback is welcome!
