Does anyone have any tips or ideas on how to cite non-cartographic sources on a static map (ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro) without pasting a giant distracting bibliography on the side of the map?
I very often cite GIS data, as is done on most static maps, but here I’m looking to cite data from a few books and an article from an academic journal. I know some people might recommend to leave them off, but it’s important to me that these citations make it on to the map because what I’m mapping has not been mapped much before and I want to make sure my map is visibly credible, above just providing credit for my data.
Google searches haven’t really turned up with much. Any ideas, or better yet, any (good) examples where this has been done?
Thanks!
