I did a remix of Crossfire3D’s cover. He had a slot but I wanted to support the ribbon cable better so I scabbed something on there to help hold it. I also use a piece of the tape supplied by Artillery on the back to help hold the ribbon even better. The back side is intentionally cut out lower so the cable isn’t kinked at high Z heights.
I recommend printing in the orientation provided (the left side of the cover) so the only support needed is external from the bed to the ribbon slot. This is a 90 degree protrusion so you will need to support it.
This fits with stock hot end parts. If you have changed out the heatbreak fan to a larger one, you may have problems. See the 3rd picture above for clearances.
